Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States and Canada. As the name suggests, this is the time to thank or appreciate the people and things in our life we are grateful for. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.
Students felt excited to be part of this moment coming to school with a dish to share with their friends and teachers. There were lots of arts, and crafts, creative plays, and fun worksheets. Teachers will surely be looking for incorporating awesome activities that can not only bring fun but also improve their reading, vocabulary, and creative and critical thinking.
Apart from the food – arguably the main component of the day – the holiday is a beloved time of year when everyone came come together to celebrate what they are thankful for, either with family or friends. Students are always looking for such special days to get out of the routine and enjoy themselves with schoolmates and friends. This type of feeling is a great feeling to start creating that special bond that gets created with every school year. This day Lycée family took the moment to do so.
